International Services Step-by-Step Guide
Last Updated: 02/03/26
This guide outlines the process for international clients to order custom dental jewellery or other bespoke pieces. Following these steps ensures a smooth experience from design to delivery.
Step 1: Digital Dental Impression Scan (STL File)
- Clients are strongly encouraged to provide a digital dental scan in STL format.
- Important: Digital scans must be performed by a licensed dentist or qualified dental professional. Your local dentist can provide the STL file, ensuring it is accurate and safe for us to use.
- The digital file can be sent during the initial Zoom consultation, which allows us to receive it instantly to then be able to print it in-house.
- Preferred method: Digital files are faster and more accurate, reducing shipping times and the need for physical impression kits.
Alternative: If a digital scan is not possible, we will provide a physical impression kit, shipped internationally (2–7 days depending on location). Clients will take their own mould and return it for production.
Step 2: Book a Zoom Appointment
- Schedule a Zoom consultation with our team to discuss your design and project requirements.
- During this session, we will review any reference images, your personality, and your budget.
- We will break down pricing and adjust the design to fit your budget.
Step 3: Collect References & Images
- Submit reference images, sketches, or inspiration to help our team understand your vision.
- Clients are also encouraged to submit images of their teeth/jaw/mouth area to assist with precise fitting.
Step 4: Submit an Order Form
- Completing an order form ahead of time helps speed up the process.
- Include your contact details, preferred design, sizing, and payment options.
Step 5: Impression & Verification
Option A – Digital File
- Send your STL file during your Zoom consultation or via email.
- Our team can print it the same day, ready for production.
Option B – Physical Mould
- Receive the impression kit from us.
- Take your own mould following the provided instructions.
- Send us a video and images of the mould to verify it was done correctly.
- Once verified, we will arrange shipping to deliver the mould to our workshop for production.
Note: Verification ensures we avoid errors and delays in the final piece.
Step 6: Deposit Payment
- Once the mould (digital or physical) is approved, a deposit payment is required to start production.
- The deposit confirms the order and allows us to secure materials and schedule production.
Step 7: Production Process
- Our team begins crafting your custom piece.
- Each client is provided with a tailored lead time depending on the design complexity.
- During this stage, we may contact the client if additional adjustments or clarifications are needed.
Step 8: Final Payment
- Once the piece is completed, a final payment link (via Shopify) is sent to the client.
- Clients confirm payment via email or WhatsApp.
Step 9: Shipping
- After payment confirmation, we prepare your item for shipping.
- Primary shipping method: Transglobal door-to-door service, with optional alternative courier if required.
- Clients receive tracking information and shipping labels via email or WhatsApp.
Step 10: Delivery
- The item is delivered to the client.
- For any future adjustments or repairs, Lifetime Servicing is automatically available for existing clients.
