How Plygrnd Began
Plygrnd started as a personal passion by our founder, Snow. It began with a need to merge street culture, product design thinking, and refined craftsmanship into something tangible, expressive, and deeply personal. What started in sketches, experiments, and instinct gradually became a brand with a clear point of view and a loyal community around it.
Snow grew up in South London, shaped by Brixton’s cultural energy and by watching her father work at the jewellery bench. That early exposure to craft left a lasting mark. She later trained in product design at Central Saint Martins, taking in the discipline of structure, materials, and form, before eventually returning to the hands-on making process in a way that felt more personal and more real.
Built On Detail
Motherhood sharpened that return to craft. What started as a practical way to create from home became something bigger, a focused practice built on detail, experimentation, and a drive to make work that felt both vivid and precise. After working across Hatton Garden and building experience inside other jewellery businesses, Snow launched Plygrnd in 2023 and made the move fully on her own terms.
The brand carries that full mix of influences, playful but exacting, bold but considered, expressive without losing refinement. It is inspired by culture, family, resourcefulness, and the belief that jewellery should not feel distant or generic. It should feel personal, lived in, and built with intention.
A Full-Service Workshop
Today, Plygrnd is a full-service jewellery workshop studio in Hatton Garden. Every booking, whether it starts with a Zoom call, a mould kit, or a one-to-one studio consultation, is designed as a real collaboration. Each custom piece is crafted in-house and overseen closely, with lasting client support through polishing, refits, plating, repairs, stone setting, and long-term care.
This is not just jewellery or grillz. It is craft, identity, and self-expression made wearable. It is a conversation turned into form, a personal idea turned into something with weight, shine, and permanence.

What is the expected turnaround time
Turnaround varies depending on appointment availability, whether the order is local or international, the design complexity, and the amount of stone setting or custom detailing involved. Simpler, more classic designs are usually faster than heavily embellished sets.
